The observing of all natural phenomena and the animal kingdom, in particular, influenced the shape, content and patterns of Tai Chi Chuan.
The way animals move is both efficient and pure in the sense that they, as instinctual creatures, are very close to the "source".
Their movements evoke feelings of harmony and natural beauty.
Images of animals seem to act on the psyche of humans and serve as powerful symbols.
